I'm after a bit of help. I have a 1992 Suzuki GSX600FN. Its engine seems to die on me occasionally when its slowing down (ie at lower revs). It starts again though. Anyone got any ideas?

Hey Mustek,

I have a GSX600 myself from the 90's and I had the same problem when I first got it.

The combination of cold weather / not letting it warm up for long enough and not having the idle speed correct all caused the same problem to happen to me.

A friend of mine helped me find the little screw to adjust the idle speed once it was warm.
Then told me to warm my bike properly. (Leave the choke on for a few minutes be never let it rev more than 3k)

Most of the time is it sweet unless I don't warm it up enough.

I hope this helps.

There is a web site dedicated to the GSXF series in the states. Type 'katrider' into your search engine. I'm sure if you wade through various threads you'll find some interesting stuff.
