Well yesterday was entertaining.
Just had to get out on the bike with it being so clean and all and Meanie and 86gsxr were heading to Turangi so thought it be a good chance to put the camera on and follow them up.
Headed up towards Vinegar Hill with Meanie on Monies bike and the Tiger following. I was pootling along the Chelthenham striaghts wondering the wisdom of having Meanie right behind me and thinking about the police officer from last week when we came across Noel Jones pushing his bike up the road. Not a good look.
Turned round and a super nice couple had stopped in a light truck. They were on their way to Ohakune and thought they would turn round to see if they could lend a hand. Fucking Superb!! So between the group of us we got the bike on the back of the truck. Followed the truck back to Feilding and unloaded the bike. Got some mint photos (in sig). By now it was noon so 86 took us on a tiki tour out the back of Feilding towards V hill. tried some recording but the camera kept turning off which was a bit of a pain but we werent far into V Hill before it became very apparent that the Tiger is very agile and gets round corners pretyt damn fast.
Stopped for the compulsory coffee stop.
Desert Rd was fairly quiet with plenty of Police around.
Had a wander round Turangi before deciding the reason the camera was turning off was because of the rechargeable batteries. Called into
New World and got some fresh batteries and went for a refuel.
Got Meanie on Camera on the Desert Rd. Mint road and awesome ride.
Stopped for a smoke again in Taihape before heading off agian, this time following the Tiger. I thought it would have been good to get some video of the Tiger round V Hill and it would have been mint if I could keep up! Very impressed with the agility of the Tiger and dont mind saying the 9 got a fair decent work out. A boiracer tagged onto us and fancyed his chances Vs the big bikes. That was fun. He showed up a little late in Chelteham and stopped for a quick chat.
getting late it was time to head for home. Fantastic day out. Cheers guys
