Well after this weekends "trip" to show off my bike to a mate in Henderson, I’m now on my 3rd official ride! (i don't count the 15min took me to get home via back roads when i bought the bike as i didn't have a licence then).
With licence in my pocket & L’oser plate attached to the saddle bag its any excuse to get on it, unfortunately as a builder those saddle bags just aint quite big enough and the dropsaw wont fit in my backpack (yet) so it just can’t be a daily commuter but bring on the weekends and summer!!
-if only I could find a way to carry my mountain bike then i would only need the car during the week…..
Anyway I've been skimming though this site for a while and found a wealth of info/advice and would just like to say thanks to all those willing to impart their knowledge and time for us newbie’s.
Cheers!

As a recent arrival myself I know exactly what you're talking about. Welcome and enjoy. After the weekend just gone, summer is definitely close :)

Gidday Mate,
Same as you, newbie biker and really happy to have found the KB family. Great bunch of guys and gals.
Dont worry about the L plate. I have one myself and we all had to learn somewhere. You'll find 99.999% of bikers out there will look out for you if they see you on the road.
......and the yellow colour matches my mother-in-law's eyes, so she's happy.
Welocme and enjoy mate, happy riding.
Take care, ride safe and eat pies

Hey there,
I hear you...being fairly new to riding myself. I count even the 2 hours after the ride I spend in the garage reminising about the 10 minute ride or so I went on lol
Roll on summer :woohoo:
