Nice videos. For a new bike he seems to be getting the hang of that tiger. :)

Good music too. Well, The Offspring is a bit meh IMO, but Shakespear's Sister was a pleasant surprise. Given the typical CMOS protection thing going on, maybe you should have used "Black Hole Sun" for the first half. :)

Be good to have a look at that. Some of their seat pic look awesome and I'd thought of getting mine done (before the Sargent). Then I saw this one in the flesh and it's ruined the look of the bike.

What about helmet cam like Joe Walshe on Eagles dvd in Melbourne.

A couple of pieces of say 50-75mm foam(lounge suite type)from upholsterer, each side of camera and strapped to pac rac maybe.Might stop shake/vibrations.

cowboyz
16th September 2008, 21:20
dont like the idea of helmet cams. Then you'll gte to see all the things I look at rather than whats in front of me.

The biggest problem with mounting this camera is the size of it. Its so damn small its difficult to mount without using the proper mount for it which itself is a bit of a pain to use. Will get a brain wave one day and work it out.

Yep helmet could be dangerous when near topless women walk past, the neck can only move so fast before crack.

How about the camera mounted inside hollowed out polystyrene or similar?

.

Better than the original, especialy when your planted on it for a long time, but thought i might try the rider option to see what i prefer
Apparently when you are on the seat for a long time you tend to push the air out of the foam which is when they become uncomfortable, so the idea is to use a firmer foam. thats why the more comfy seats feel harder.........aparantly

So is that why he rides a Concours - the bike's huge arse makes his look smaller?

:D

Of course, a smarter man than I wouldn't be making these jokes knowing how badly they're going to backfire in about 2 days time, assuming I make it to the BBQ as planned....

Being naive here, where do you mount it. I see Ebay selling camera mounts as tank cap mounts.

It being the camera not anyting else you choose to mount.

it is mounted on a clip that sits on the mirror. pretty average really but does the job

Pics/vids are only as good as the camera, the ones you've taken are clear compared to some, unless you have access to the professional cameras like tv studios use.The size of those cams you'd need to fix em to a concours.
