Anything happening this weekend, or any weekend?
With the fine weather starting to happen, I`ve been out most weekends and seen heaps of groups at the Gladdy, Martinborough, Tui HQ...
All good, but kinda sucks riding lone wolf at times y`know?

There are rides almost every weekend.

Last Sunday at about 10:30 you couldn't move at the top of the hill for all the bikes. It was ridiculous.

Turn up at the Caltex at Upper Hutt at around 10 and your bound to hook up with some one.

I'm planning to go down to the sprints at some stage in the day - I'll text you before I go. If the weather is like today it will be a cracker :niceone:

I was going to enter, but went for a couple of test runs today and found that at 270+ my helmet is pressed hard up to my face, and flopping all round the place...real off putting and distracting when ya still accelerating.
Plus I`m still trying to get used to life at warp 10...a bit different from my VTR days.
Maybe November will be the go, with a bit more experience and a new helmet.
Went for a blast up the Takas after lunch (via Martinborough), and learnt that 2nd/3rd gear hard out is the way to go...fun!
Had a good yarn with some riders up there who said they where going to watch the sprints, didn`t get your names, just the dude on the black Harley, and the other on the Aprilia.
...So yeah, I`ll see ya there tomorrow.

When I`m doing this, I`ll be ready!
