Hi,
Does anybody know where I can get a good lock/alarm from that will fit onto my front or rear wheel.
I have seen some that fit over the spokes, but a small bolt cutter would soon deal to that 2 qiuck snips and the bike is gone.
I have to be able to take this lock/alarm with me when I am off riding.

Hi there,

You may have found this by now but take a look at the Xena disc lock. You can also get extra bits for it like the chain and claw etc.

See: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=58878&highlight=xena+lock

Going to the Xena website will give you all the specs so you can work out which ones will fit on your model of motorcycle.

Hope this is helpful. Lots of opinions in the thread.

We have two of the Xena alarm disk locks. Haven't had them long but they seem pretty good and quite heavy duty. The alarm is pretty loud.

Hi, yeah had one but I returned it as it doesn't work to well on small spokes.
Some how I might have to go with the chain option.

A few months back I reviewed the Damaco Lock Alarm. 120 Decibel siren, 500 grams in weight, either 2.4 or 4.6 meter length cables. Check it out at www.damaco.com.au
