Well after 2ys of some blood hard work the RSVR has asked for abit of TLC . Seems I have worn out a tension plate / spring in the clutch come slipper clutch area so she is off down to Bruce Telfords this saturday in Otkai for him to look at & sort out ready for summer & more drags . Hope the weather is going to be good down Wellington way , gives us a wave if ya see me on my black RSVR & my red HSV clubsports following that ways saturday morning :Punk: Will leave bike down there till she is ready to come home again :crybaby: but still have the 03 TTR600 to do wheelies on so all isn't lost :Punk:

Well Bruce Telford phoned 2day & said I was bloody lucky to get my bike from New Plymouht to Otaki without killing it due to the fact 2 of the 3 bolts holding the pressure plate had sheared off & had fallen into the bottom of the gearbox :oi-grr: may take a Lotto this week after hearing this but nothing touched or broken so will get some new parts & put it back together ready for more of the same .

It had a rattle sound from the clutch basket bit like a ducati dry clutch sound when idling but only every now & then

Hi guys..
Question..... Who is this Bruce Telford person.
I've got a 99 RSV and its going to be up for a service and valve clearance check etc etc soon but was going to take it to the local agent.
Maybe he is the man instead.

Well the RSVR is back in the shed after picking it up yesterday from Otaki from Bruce Telford & all I can say is " Fuck yea "!! it is back & better than ever . Pic is of the bits that broke & fell into the box luckly without damaging anything while I have been riding it plus the trip down to Otaki ???? Look from to the drags coming up at the end of the year , but have another $700 of bling to go on it this week that has been sitting round waiting for my bike to come back home . More $$$ to be spent soon with a full Twin exhaust system to be added so onwards & up wards :Punk:
