I have owned 2 dirt bikes. A KX 80 that was fantastic performance-wise and an average as TTR 125. I am looking at buying a sports bike so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to KB Don :2thumbsup
What licence/experience with road riding do you have? Ie are you looking for a bigger sports bike or a something smaller like a 250?
I started out on a GPX250, not the fastest 250 out there but got me from A->B

I am on my learners *tear* the bike would mainly be used for driving around Hamilton and the surrounding areas. Possibly to Raglan when the weather suits as well. I wouldn't been that concerned with performance over 110 k's though. Just some nice take off

Not looking at spending a whole lot. Between 1.5 and 2 grand I think would be enough
