A little info from a GENUINE Kawasaki test rider
Overall I say it has a much better potential as a race bike compared to last year's ZX-6R. Let me know if you end up racing one, I'll get more set up info as our race team starts testing theirs.
Great to have people sharing info:apint:

Kawasaki really needs this bike to help them step up to the plate in the supersport class - at WSS level they are behind Triumph in the manufacturers points table, and none of the Triumph teams are factory teams.

you cant really take the world stage into account, do kawasaki factory actually have a team or any top riders? IMO you cant base anything on wss as the bikes are so far from standard, you gotta look at the local stuff, suzuki is nowhere is wss but won the nz title with kawasaki 3rd.....

I think using the NZ champs as a basis for arguing if a bike is fast or not is a whole heap more flawed than using WSS. Look at all the national championships around the world, Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki are streaks ahead of Kwaka in both supersport and superbike. Heck look at their MotoGP effort for a proper indication of where they are in regards to the other major manufacturers. Of course you have to stand up for the green team though :niceone: and I would be happy for you to prove me wrong.
