Hi, can anyone let me in on the trick to getting at the center spark plugs on my 2002 Honda Hornet 900? I just changed the oil and filter, and wanted to throw in some new plugs as well. I lifted the fuel tank, and while I can get to the outer plugs ok with my basic tools, I couldn't figure how to get at the center one from the right particularly, because it's right under the frame and there's bugger all room, even to pull out the plug wire without bending the heck out of it. What's the trick? Does it help to have a special tool, or it would it help to remove the radiator or something? Any advice appreciated...

Thanks,

Mike

Have you tried to unbolt the radiator and try to make some space. If you lift up the tank and move all the cables, tubes you should be able to access the plug from the top...

it says in the manual to remove radiator.

However when i did my plugs i didn't remove it,(to lazy+ didn't have any antifreeze)
it took a while but useing another plug socket(not the one in the tool kit) and a short extension .
it takes ages to do just that one but its possible.
