I see it requires well muffled bikes. Mine is soo loud my mates tell me they may not ride with me if I dont change it. How can you muffle them more(modify?) so I can go on this ride?

Have you tried repacking it?

Yea might have even gotten louder(less oily packing)
Dont want to mess with the expansion chambers effects by restricting the flow. Maybe the one off the crf450 would do.....

Another excellent day out at Woodhill. We've got to the stage where I can let the girls go on a loop om their own, while I do a longer loop. Still spend most of the day following though... They took a bit of convincing to put their bikes on the trailer.....
Nice to meet you krad nz and spikedpunch, for someone so new to trail riding, you're doing very well spikedpunch, not afraid to tackle the tricky bits eh? pic of you both below...

Oh choice! Thanks for the photo clmintie! My fans are very pleased (That'd be mum and dad ).
Great day. My head hurts a bit from going into a tree at one point, but other than that, brilliant. I wasn't too keen to head home either :) Good having the extra sunlight from daylight savings to wash the bikes in, too.
Aaaah time for fish and chips and vegging on the couch now.

Nice to meet you. I had good fun :) Cheers for the pic.

Time for a new bike though, keen for a KDX200. I'll have to ask you about yours next time we bump into each other.

Had an excellent ride, only annoyance is that my engine kill switch decided to stop working. I didn't drop the bike, or hit it on anything, I just went to turn it off and it no longer worked. Perhaps the switch contacts are corroded. I'm guessing it shorts out the ignition coil or something. Strange, I'll have a look at it tomorrow.

Early night tonight I think!

I'm still quite happy with the KDX, we'll be at the next Power Ride at Woodhill, you better have a go on mine then, unless we meet before somewhere...

Man I had a shit of a start to the day (my Son and wife were sick) and by the time I got my bike on the trailer and was getting ready to go my car battery went flat. I was so pissed off and by the time I would have gotten my shit sorted and the car going it would have been 11am by the time I got to the ride.

So I packed up and stayed home.

So what is on for next week!! itching to get on my bike!

does a gas2 use twice as much a normal bike?

You not fixed that leak yet Rupe? I had a thought on how to make new brass inserts to fix your tank.

No not that leak pays turn fuel tap off. Answer is bout 3-4L made it back to car park with a few short cuts was a good laugh (poor tree)
