Our track day is January 10 2009.

There are posts about it in the track days section and also in the CDMTCI club section.

Well, it's a gorgeous day for our toy run so we're not accepting any excuses for not being there!

Meet up before 1pm at the Feilding town square with your toy for Barnardos and $7 for a badge (had to put the price up this year as they cost more to make now) for a back roads ride to Palmerston North. Sausage sizzle and get together at the end of the ride.

Thanks to all riders and pillions who made yesterday's toy run one of our most successful to date. We counted 94 bikes at the end of the ride and a really great haul of toys to hand over to Elizabeth from Barnardos, who was, as usual, very grateful.

The day couldn't have been better and CDMTCI would like to thank everyone for their generosity. Badges sold out, even at the increased price.

However I think some people's idea of a toy run is a little bizarre - you are meant to buy a toy and hand it over at the end of the ride, not strap one to your bike, decorate it with tinsel and take it for a ride in the country. One cuddly toy has appeared at more than one of our rides and will no doubt show up again next year!
