Hey, Im planning my first race at Puke this weekend and im a little concerned at the lack of power avaliable.

Does anyone have a generator that can power a pair of tyre warmers that I could borrow for the weekend?

Hopefully I wont need it, but I would rather be safe than sorry (ZX10 with cold tyres does not make for a fun first couple of laps)

Cheers

Dude theres heaps of power there. Just make sure you get there at a reasonable time and take a 4 way adapter just in case you need to share.

Hey Hoon, I'm guessing you are going to be out there? How has the off season treated you?

I will be out there on Sat as well, should be getting there early and getting a power spot if anyone wants to share with me.

Hey Brian, i have a little 2 stroke one i picked up from bunnings for $100 its rated at 850w but it runs the warmers fine! Im off to PI today to watch the gp though so might be a bit hard to use mine. Go to bunnings have a look

hmmmm I thought the warmers were 1000w each? so thought I would need at least a 2kva one, which at bunnings are $569.
Anyone here a know what the story is for sure ???

I think my warmers are 1000w total. About 450/550 front/rear...

Warmers are generally between 1000-1300 watts a pair. I have used a small 1200 watt generator on my simple warmers all day without issue.
