It's been about a year without a bike and i've been travelling aroudn West Africa in a big old Mecedes trucl. Been back in NZ for about 5 months and today (TODAY!) I just got my new bike!

It is a 2008 Triumph Street Triple in black and is my dream bike. Hope to catch up with some old mates again now I am back on two wheels of freedom.

Photos to come later :)

Lol! As soon as I get the tires scrubbed in and the engine a bit more run-in. Then there will be no stopping us!

Have you ridden with Chisanga? Like me he has nothing to hide as he rides well and within the confines of the law.

I cannot jump on this "Them and us" bandwagon with the police. The only time I have had to stop for a copper was for a cup of coffee chez Scumdog

There is an East Auckland Riders group over at http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/group.php?groupid=59 , we rided on those sometimes, if not, give justin or nigel a ring and it shall be done I assume! That's if Justin isn't on the otherside of the country.

Cool! Did about 250km today (I know nothing compared to Justin!) and met up with Gwich at the shop in Clevedon. Tried to call Nigel to show off my bike but he wasn't home :)

Loving the bike so far... Be good to ctach up with you guys for a ride anytime.

When's the next EARS ride? Haven't been on one since the inaugural ride to Kaiaua all those months ago...feeling a little nostalgic as I reminisce.

Chisanga, fancy bringing yer Striple to the next one?

Aha! I remember your bike, I was drooling over it quite profusely.
Make a post in the EAR group bit-thingy and see when everyone is keen for another ride, more often than not people will say "name the time and place!"
