Typing one handed is quite fustrating so it's gonna be short!

Friday:

Test day was awesome, got down to 1:13 on the 250 which i was really happy with. Then Eddy (GIXer) the kind fella let me do half a doz laps on his 1000. Those thous have some serious grunt alright! The fastest bike ive previously taken around a track is the 250 so this thing was a real experience. Managed to break into the 1:13s with in 6 laps which is more than i could have asked for personally. Thanks again Ed, really really appreciate that.

Sat: Qualifyed 8th in both supersport and superbike. About where i was expecting for the weekend.
Race time got a good launch to have the red flag out instantly. Massive pile up at the start. Sorry to the guys involved with that, Makes my mishap look pathetic in comparison, best wishes to everyone esp Jason. Heal quick bud.

Restart. I'm going to be straight up, i was pushing it very hard trying to keep up on the lil 250. in the end a little to hard. I wheel spun coming out of splash, got the bike side ways and highsided.

I managed quite a decent break to my arm and two broken metatarsals in my foot. So that was my day over.

Thanks to all the sympathy from everyone and also my apologies to anyone I may have disappointed. give me 8 weeks and i'll be back stronger and smarter!

Cheers to Steve Bagshaw for again his pain staking job running the team. To VMCC and everyone helping run the event. I believe all issues throughout the day were handled very very well.

Cheers,

-Glen #10

That has got to be the shortest report I've ever seen from you... Don't let it happen again.

Heal up quick as well Glen .. as soon as I watched you trying to pick up the bike I thought you had broken either arm or wrist ..

Also on ya for getting off the bike & laying down when you realized that you were a bit more hurt than just bruises

btw the helmet did its job ... :) it can be replaced

Unfortunately the only great pics I could of taken would of been of a cast on his arm.

I have yet to see you in full race mode Glen (apart from buckets, does that count?) Looking forward to you getting back out there.

Awesome riding out there. You were absolutely flying.

Pity about the highside although it was pretty impressive to watch. Top effort managing to pick your bike up after that highside. Hope you heal up quickly.

Sorry about the high side, you were incredible fast! I couldn't believe the awesome lean angles you had that was totally ignoring the laws of physics!

I am sure that Kicking is right about it all being about the ride in the wambulance ... but hey you were making good time till that happened .. next lesson is how to make good time and not have that happen .... hope you still make it to the track next month.

Hi Glen, It was good to see you back at the track on Sunday spectating after your accident on Saturday. I have to hand it to you as I have seen a couple of your accidents and you are 1 tuff cookie who just keeps bouncing back. I wish you a speedy recovery with your injuries and hope to see you back at the track for round 6 in 3 weeks as a spectator and supporter of the rest of those riders riding for the Moto Academy. Takecare Glen and see you there.

Some of the good news mate is that you have plenty time ahead of you to make an even bigger mark in motorcycling. And I doubt that anyone would claim to have been dissappointed in you.
You and the other Moto Academy boys have been extra impressive this year. You were very balanced about the whole deal on Sunday. Great skills Sketchy.
