How gay is it to post your own birthday thread? GIS I beat someone else (who I’ve probably never met) to it and it’s my birthday so I can post what ever I like about it :bleh:

Do I really need to post it and have others wish me well for my hatching day? Did I just stay up particularly to do it? Do I really care that much that it's my birthday? NO!!! Then why you might ask am I doing it?

On the eve of the day that I popped out of my mothers loins (all those years ago) I am awake, wired and worried for a friends safety. Shit load of ‘LIFE’ hit and it’s overwhelming. Network is engaged, texts fly and friend can not escape the onslaught of care and concern from all sides.

I think checking in on and considering my own level of reactivity and resilience especially where something might cut close to home is wise and so (in addition to being there for my friend) I reflect on ‘where I’m at’. What better timing for this than on ones birthday... (btw isn't it pretentious when people refer to themselves as 'ones')

SO I been thinking and to ALL you dispassionate and hardened bastards who hate fluffy feelings talk on a 'biker forum' NOW is your chance to exit unscathed. Honestly! I will be sappy in this next section so piss off if you can't take it :wavey:

SO my 'personal' assessment is that much as I haven’t been blessed with nor achieved that ‘perfect or comfortable or normal or whatever life’ that I’m supposed to want…I am pretty damn happy with 'what I got'. I am very fortunate to have around me exceptional people in my; family, friends, work colleagues and the occasional random 'joe bloggs' :eek:

I've also had some awesome and rich experiences over my so far relatively short time on this little planet which have all taught and shaped me.

Most of all though on this birthday I feel lucky to have the main men:love: in my life who suffer me daily and who really are my greatest gift.

I am thankful of my beautiful, smart, loving and funny son who makes me proud every day and tests and pushes me. One day I think he just may help me to grow up into that better person (good things take time :lol:

I am blessed with my; handsome, clever, balanced, supportive, fun, challenging husband who has continued to grow with me and still continues to surprise, encourage and keep me in check after all these years.

SO Happy Birthday to ME COS I am as lucky as can be
