:2thumbsup Hell yeah that sure feels good, had my new wheels delivered 2day. It's been a long and hard road to recovery since my bin way back in September 2004.
Have to admit though I may be biting off more than I can chew, but what better way to get back into it (meaning I ain't quite fully recovered yet) my left shoulder still aches and my butt, well lets just say thats never gonna be the same again, {Take it from me don't go trying to shove cement fence posts up you butt sideways at speed. } as for my burst vertabra well that all feels pretty good now although Iv'e still got another round of x-rays to look forward to. (plates and screws)can do wonders for you.
After almost 4 months of no riding (I'm lost for words)
:ride: :ride:
I guess I'll just have 2 nana it around until my butt can handle it, will have to carry plenty of smokes with me as I'll be stopping to rest fairly often.
Any nana rides comming up ?
Hope to see ya all out there soon.

Well done mate. Just take it easy. It's really suprising how tired you are after getting back on the bike.
Sounds as if you've had a rough time. I thought having plaster and pins was bad enough, but not as bad as plates and screws.
All the best.

 I must of forgotten to update my profile
That Hornet has seen better days, I guess she must of overheard that I wanted to trade her in and promptly threw me off :bash: :bash:
Anyway Iv'e now become a poser seeing as i can't ride a sports bike anymore, I did manage to sit on the new K5 GSXR600 but new within a coupla seconds that those days are over so I then decided to go to the other extreme and buy a cruiser. The reasoning behind this was that If I bought something similar to the Hornet I would soon be riding it at it's limit and feared a similar fate.
Prehaps in due time with further mending" and forgetfullness" I might get back into sportys, in the meantime I don't intend losing out on the feeling I get from biking.
To all who replied thanks for the encouragement, well wishes and other comments. Thanks
P.S. Hope u can keep up with this poser :done: :Pokey:

That corner takes some getting use to so take it easy - then again you'll only be 'cruising' through it next time round by the looks of your new wheels! Congrats on them btw, nice bike, and glad to hear you're on the mend back to 99.9%! :msn-wink:
