I have recently got some used throttle bodies for my 'prilia and while stripping and cleaning them, I noticed the injector seals are munted.

This makes me wonder how good the injectors are. I have read a lot about dirty injectors and their how flow patterns change, as well as ultrasonic cleaning.

Is there somewhere local that does this kind of flow testing and cleaning? Is it easier to just get an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner and do the job yourself with injector cleaner?

Anyone had any experience with this?

I get mine done at Petroject in Albany they have a sonic tank for cleaning and test benches to check the flow and pattern.

They charge about $25 per Injector, give them a ring and ask for Andrew.

I had an injector cleaner - in 11 years of cleaning and testing injectors the number of faulty ones I found I could count on the fingers of one hand, and still have a finger left to pick my nose with.Does no harm to do it - but for someone trying to justify the expense of buying such a machine....a total waste of time.
