Grey queues and anonymous boxes, the sound of Nina Simone drifting.
Freedom curtailed and permissions revoked, gale force winds and rain and Versace suit mix like oil.
Dark grey skies, God painted a monotone for the urban crawl, everything is dark, foreboding, depressed.
"Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Reeds driftin on by you know how I feel..."
Out of nowhere, pillion with her man, brightly coloured arms in violent pink outstretched, soaring like an eagle, fingertips dancing with the joy of being free.
For a moment my soul connects and soars too.

To ask a question like that you must be married. :crybaby:
Hey, sorry I missed out on contacting you last weekend at Taupo, had a surprise birthday party that would have turned into a lynch mob had I been late...

To have come up with post #1, you're clearly not.
:msn-wink:
(BTW, that Six Feet Under album is well cool).

If you like it, try Miles Davis, Kind of Blue. Hmm. A biker that doesn't drink, loves Jazz; have I just failed some sort of test?

Freedom curtailed = stuck in the cage, permissions revoked = sitting in the dinky queue with all the other suckers, rather than racing down the bus lane or filtering while chuckling at all the cagers sitting there staring at my receeding taillight...

Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Reeds drifting on by you know how I feel
Its a new dawn
Its a new day
Its a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good
Fish in the sea you know how I feel
River running free you know how I feel
Blossom in the tree you know how I feel
Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, dont you know
Butterflies all havin fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
Thats what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the pine you know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
