Well, I guess this had to come along at some stage:
The 007s have gone forth and are multiplying!!!
For those of you who need a picture, this is about how it went:
XX :o + XY:blip: = :love::hug::p----(9 months later)------:baby:
So as you can all imagine, we're absolutely ecstatic...and a little scared as well of course.
It doesn't help that I was made redundant 2 days before finding out about my pregnancy :eek5:
So, if anyone needs a PA / office admin over the next 8.5 months on the North Shore, please yell out as I could really use the help.
But anyway..........this is really about a happy event. I shall post pics of the Tadpole as soon as we got some, cos we all know it didn't happen unless we have pics :D .

Awesome news 007's.. CONGRATS!!!!:first:
Some people come into our lives.. & quickly go
Some people move our souls to dance
They awaken to us new understanding..
With the passing whisper of their wisdom
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon
They stay in our lives..
Leave footprints on our hearts..
And we are never, ever the same..
Wishing you both much love for your new journey
From my family to yours

The job hunting is going to be interesting...it's really going to put to the test the "non descrimination law", isn't it? I mean: how many employers will really want a pregger employee?
I've already checked and WINZ won't really come to the party, because my hubby supposedly earns too much :Offtopic: Fucking wankers
What was the fucking point of me paying my taxes like a good citizen ever since I landed in NZ to have mere peanuts given to me grandly when I need help the most?
Not a happy chappy right now....sorry for the rant, but as you can probably tell, any faith I might have had in the System is being seriously disilusioned right now.

That's easy! Dont tell any prospective employers of your "condition". Wait til about a month into working then hit them with it! I hear you can get a really good maternity leave deal and still have your job back. Worth a try anyway.

Oh how I wish I could experience the novelty of temporary big knockers
...detachable titties of varied sizes and shapes would be fun now wouldn't they then I could have a special pair for work, for after 5 wear, for slut time and of course my personal favs the 'no need for a bra pair' for those days when you just want to be active :pinch:

As per the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987, you have to have worked for the same employer for an average of at least 10 hours a week (including at least one hour in every week or 40 hours in every month) in a 6 or 12 month period before bubs expected due date.
But.......
Mr 007XY may be eligable for two weeks leave.....no money thou :weep: on the birth of bubs, if he meets the 6 or 12 month criteria, as explained above.
Some really nice employers offer more for dads too....he needs to have a chat with his employers. And or have a wee lookie at his employment agreement.
Temps on campus at AUT are farken awesome, if you want temp work, they have a campus on the shore. Give them a bell they are always looking for temps. AUT aint that bad to work for I promise

As far as being horny in pregnancy, it usually hits in about the second trimester...hormones are a bitch!
Usually?? I'm in third and still waiting, pretty much gone off cock for life.

Following this equation, I didnt think it were possible to get pregnant that way?...
It's just pure basic arithmetic: :hitcher:
When approaching from the rear, it is "the second hole down from the back of the neck". :buggerd:
Try to remember that in future Maha.
Well done XX and XY
XY has obviously got a good head for figures! :shifty: Best wishes. Pip and John.

Sorry to hear chicky...i was only speaking from the experience of my first pregnancy 11 years ago. Admitedly, the details are a tad fuzzy.
But "for life" ? don't be silly woman...I seriously hope that once the hormone rollercoaster lands, you'll be able to get back on that horse, so to speak :D

You think? Perhaps it's got nothing to do with luck.
Pregnant women are sexy. (Apart from maybe those ones that look like elephants ). I certainly found the vifferbabe sexy when she was pregnant.

Yes, well...me thinks you probably have a point there!
But from what I understand from chatting with mates, a lot of guys are just indifferent when it comes to pregnant women.
However, when it is their own and they are a loving partner, the pregnancy only enhances their affection.

Only when it's not your own. No sane man wants to go, y'know. Anywhere near some other man's kid. If you know what I mean.
*shudders*
However, when it is their own...
Oh yes. When it's your own.

Well... a little update on the 007 Junior Edition
XY and myself got to lay eyes today for the first time on our little bundle of joy...all 76mm of him or her!!!!
He or She is extremely vivacious (stroppy like Mummy apparently. Didn't like the bloody probbing from the radiographer man), has two arms / legs/ hands / feet...
Has an above average length and also a very good heart capacity, and has little foreseable chance of struggling with a disabilitie such as Down's Syndrome.
I can tell you right now also that this child has got one of ( if not THE) most beautiful little button nosed profile there is to see...I am very thoroughly in love!
Daddy is as proud as punch and the look on his face during the scan is worth any pain that can be thrown my way later on. I didn't cry (Jeez, I ain't that hormonal anymore, thank Gawd!), but it was a pretty emotional moment and we have already watched the DVD twice again since this arvo
So yeah, anyway...sorry for the mushy stuff folks, but i'm just bursting with sunshine inside, and I just thought I'd share with those who care.
Hugs all round, life's beautiful. :sunny:

Ssssshhhh...we don't know yet. Daddy doesn't really want to find out, but he reckons it's a girl. I have no clue (nothing new there!), but definitely want to find out...so for the first time I'll have to hide something from hubby for five months

See, the thing is, I am being very cunning indeed: I have bought my son a puppy for Xmas, and this little fellow doesn't have any regards for the concept of uninterrupted sleep, let alone a whole 9 hours of it!
So see, I am re training now...I know, I know: you can smack me for being a moron the next time you see me *sigh*

And the look on my hubby's face was priceless. It is so very rewarding to see so much joy and pride on the face of the person you love.
