Does anyone know if the wheels + brakes from a 2003 GSXR1000 will swap over into a GSXR750k4/K5?

correct front is same 300mm dics

rear is wrong since rear on 600/750 = 5.5" where rear on 1000 is 6"

i am sure it will work with some right spacers, but its not straight bolt up.

i would think be fine

the front end of the gsxr 1000 is got heavier springs than say 600/750
brakes from a k3(single pad per piston) is better than the k4/k5 brakes.

i do have a picture chart somewhere showning gsxr fork sizes i see if i can find it and post it up

Neah you will crack the swingarm if you try and "force" it

just did a quick search on gixxer.com

say 6" will fit, just use the spacers that are on the 1000.

attached is a list of the interchangeable rims for the 600/750 k4/5

Sweetas, was thinking of using the 6'' to run a 190/55 on my mates 750, but it should work fine on the 5.5".

As long as the front end will swap over then our main problem is sorted.

plenty of people run 190/55 on the 5.5" rims.

Refer my answer to your pm, the GSXR1000 forks are not a good choice due to excess friction in the cartridges ( very poor tolerancing ) and a very poor compression piston. It costs a lot of money to make these forks work to an acceptable standard.
