Information on bike needed (for sale in Wellington)

Morning all ...

A friend of mine is looking at a bike down in wellington and was hoping that someone could give me some more info on it.

It's a GSXR-600

Ohlins Rear suspension
Racing Cams
Power Commander ECU
Yoshimura high mount race exhaust

It was tuned by the Suzuki race team for Brian Bernard.

the bike has been raced from new and done 1200k.

The reason I'm after some more info is that i don't want my friend to buy a bike that has had the crap kicked out of it engine wise.

Being ex Brian Bernard at least you know its been put together correctly, and be looked after yes might be raced, but since coming from a point e

I took a look at it when i was looking to buy a 600cc sports bike.
Over all condition is very average. Lots of scratches and dints (mostly around the fuel tank and speedo area).
Not too sure on the engine condition though.

Gosh, scratches and dints on a 4 year old race bike! :rolleyes:

I have taken a good look at this bike a few times while at the shop. I also chatted to a guy there about the bike and was told that "it would be a dog on the road, but on the track it'd be a beast". And yeah there are some scratches and what not. Looks ok, probably goes hard, but I would like to know why the wheels are different colours!

From memory it was going for an ok price considering what you will get for your buck.
