Little Monster decided to do some painting today. Very excited he was given a proper canvas to work on and set about making it look beautiful.

Then I decided that he could plaster the glass sliding door with colourful handprints.

Little monster thought this was great but seemed to lose interest. Thinking he'd been rather quiet (never a good sign) I walked out onto the deck to find the attached

Ya see this is why you only give your kids the waterbased poster paints...thank god he didn't see my oil paints because he loves the texture and smell...very much like his mummy I think

Not much good eating on that boy...need to fatten him up a bit methinks. I just set him to work with a bucket and brush - I think he enjoyed that just as much and as you'll see below he is now 'watering' the car - after a spot of face painting!

This is why I will always prefer dogs over children.

I can always lock these two in a box all day long to keep them out of trouble. If I tried that with children the state would be showing up to discuss a few things with me.

Locking them in a box aside, dogs and children have much in common...
IE: You can take kids for a walk.
You can play ball with kids.
Kids will embarrass you in front of your friends without notice.
Kids also have selective hearing.
Kids will want to sleep with you, even though they have a bed of their own.

Yes... but your not allowed to tie them to a post outside the supermarket while you do your shopping.
Kids only want to stay batting, while the dog prefers to play outfield.
When either embarrass you, at least you can tie the dog to a post somewhere.
Kids have poor attention span skills, dogs... if its not fun, or doesn't smell funny ...not interested.
Dogs go OUTSIDE to "do their business", kids dont need to wake...

I LIKE DOGS...

Well just returned from a gentle cruize - what a fab day it is here - not much wind, no clouds and sunshine to boot. Bloody lovely!!!

Coming down the driveway I am greeted by little monster...capped off with Naked SV Headlight housing

My boy is such a snappy dresser he even 'accessorizes'
