Valve bounce

Last night I accidentally let my zxr250 valve bounce.............twice :doh:
Now its leaking fuel out the overflow (from the carb i think??)
So just wondering if the two are related & wot sort of damage i could possibly have done. So if anyone could help that would be great.

I think the rev limiter would come in before your valve began to float.

Ummm... I'm pretty sure the ZXR250a didn't have a limiter... dunno about the C... Unless you count the pistons flying out at 22krpm as a limiter.

I'd get someone to have a quick check of the top end to make sure you haven't bent a valve or summat... If you have then you may want to see if it poked a hole in anything when it hit.
