Hi all, a mate (no, really!) has just bought a 110cc quad made by a Chinese bunch called Kinroad. This particular one seems to have been ridden on a beach, then taken home and left for 2 years. There is a fair sprinkle of rust on the steel bits and fur on the ali bits and the back wheels demonstrate a reluctance to rotate, which I suspect may be the reason my mate got it cheap. There is some play, about enough to tell me it's not the brakes seized on, more the bevel drive. Bugger.
The manufacturer's wares can be seen at the link below. Does anyone know if Kinroad have an official NZ rep? I expect they have a different name for the lawnmowers or golf buggies they also make, so that may be a start...

Any help would be gratefully received. Ta,

before panicking. --Rip the back end to bits. Probably one of the axle bearings has collapsed. Knock the buggers out and get some decent bearings and bung em in--Had a similar problem on Mathews lil 50 and it took about half an hour to fix

Sorry guy, I can't help. My mate's Mrs made him get rid of it and the cheapo kids quad (with 6" dia wheels) he'd got to take his kids around Woodhill of all places - can you say "small wheels in soft sand" without laughing?
All for the best, as the things would have been a nightmare - and I don't think many in the family (apart from the Mrs) plays with a full deck up top. I'll ask, but as far as I remember the thing sat in the garage for 3 months before being moved on. Never seen one like it out & about.
