 So who's RS ran out of petrol then? First day out for the team ESE RS/GP125 and after a few tuning adjustments it was running fine. :done: The test pilot found it comfortable but so different in its power delivery and the way it turned into corners that it was taking some getting used too and the times were way off. Just as everything was coming together it ran out of gas.

Shellracing was going like a rocket and sufferd an involantry ejection from B grade to the expert class. :niceone:

Pumba and some other young guys on FXR/FZR's and a Honda125T were realy flying. Check out the front brakes on Pumbas bike.

But the race is on and very :soon: we will be back quicker and faster.

I beleive the technical term for that situation is a fueling defficentcy in the system:lol:

Check out the front brakes on Pumbas bike.

Bloody spies with there high tech hidden cameras:lol: Yea still a bit of refinement required to that system as the lever was still quite soft, still managed to get the rear off the ground comming into the hair pin thou:2thumbsup

Yeah a wee bit tight into that "homemade" corner, It was a real HP track with the full front straight as a drag race. here's some footage.

As I remember them:-

:headbang: checked the weight of the RS/GP and it came in at 73.5kg with distribution roughly 50/50%.

GP125 91.5kg Tim's FXR 112kg Steve's FZR 114kg and Mike's FZR No 6 92kg all were weighed wet and the wait distribution was roughly F40%/R60%.

I recall the weight being biased toward the front on the RS.

The ribs are giving me hell - no sudden movements, no exertion. The Doc says I've damaged a ligament in my shoulder, on top.

Biased towards the front? does this mean it was 50/50 with the rider on board then? certainly different to the road based bikes.

Very sorry to see you were hurt. :( Hope this does not mean, it will be hard for you, to get out to play again soon.

So does this mean your coming to Taumarunui then?

I see you and Tim getting a bit 'touchy' there on the front line.

Yep plenty of space round them corners alright.

She's a bit hairy at Mt Welly when you got 5-6(out of 15) bikes off the start line, at full pace, all heading into 'Hells Corner', side by side. ::shit:

The Welly boys know what it's like, their track is tight too.

The two hour is even better because there is at least 25 bikes on the track, all at once
and it's F4, A Grade, B Grade and F5 bikes all out there.
