I have stumbled across this camera setup for bikes and looks interesting.

Motionaleyes (http://www.motionaleyes.com/)

Has anyone setup something like this??

I like the idea I can see behind me with out having to flap elbows out of the way.

The other bonus is you can sent to a recorder as well for if out on the track!!

Yea I've been keeping an eye out for this type of thing as well.... you can buy cheap kits from Jaycars for cage installations which will give you a weatherproof camera, but not LCD screen. The Motionaleyes has a screen that I think is too big and intrusive - maybe a 3-4" one will suit a bike better. After all it's just to check traffic behind you and you shouldn't need an image so big that you can read number plates...?!

I reckon some of the GPS units available for bikes, especially waterproof ones, should have an AV input for this purpose which will be one less thing we have to mount on our bikes! My 2 cents....:Punk:

Crikey carver will be able to watch the videos of himself while he rides along or have the camera scanning for Arabs.
