hiya folks.
i was curious if a half and half mix of 95oct. with avgas would be o.k or is the lead in avgas bad for modern engines(06 blade) ?
on that note,i'd like to know for sure that 98 is alright for it aswell.
95 is the minimum recomendation,so i'm picking 98 is sweet?
we don't get 98 in the naki, which really pisses me off,as i topped up in wanganui today, and it runs fucken awesome on it =) :Punk:

oh shit =(...yeah it's got a cat.
the price of avgas?
not sure at the mo'. i know a wee while back it was cheaper then petrol, but last i heard,it was a bit dearer.
there is a way that you can get a card,(i think it's a mobil card) to purchase avgas, but i'm not sure who to see about it,and you'd probably want to tell them it's for a race car,not for a street vehicle.

If your blade is late enough to have a O2 sensor it will be poisoned in seconds from the lead content of the fuel. This is why the "Unleaded Only" are there, also with a dead O2 sensor your bike will run like shit. If you want better fuel check out the Elf racing fuels - they're clean.
