Is there anyone in the general Wellywood area that has the know how, tools and inclination to assist in 're-modeling' some bent bash plate brackets for me?

Can provide recompense via beer/bottle of spirits/cash/whatever.

After last weekends efforts on the Sutherland Hut Adventure ride my bash plate mounting brackets need a little work, a couple are slightly bent/twisted, and one has cracked around the bolt hole.

I'm also interested in whether any improvements can be made. The bash plate was made by the previous owner and is well done however usage has shown that one set of mounts could possibly use a little more strength.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the bash plate?

The bash plate is an accessory used to wallop pedestrians and car's wing mirrors as you pass them by.
Honestly.

A bash plate is a steel or simliar plate attached to the underside of the motor to stop hamfisted amateurs like me from bashing a hole through the sump and letting all the oil out when hitting every large rock around while off road.

Needless to say I'm more hamfisted than most off road and managed to hit all the big rocks so my bash plate, or at least it's mounting brackets need a little TLC.
