Anyone here going to this??
We get to demo the 09 Honda MX Range at Kimmys farm on Friday, I'm freaking itching to go!!
Just have to turn up with our gear, like a pro for a day..
I'm hoping Kimmys will be groomed and mint as it still is not even open yet. Damn I wish it was friday!!

Wet or dry the Hondas will be rippin!
Go and see your Honda dealer and see if there are any spots left, A mate an I only got invited because we have names down for the new 450.
Its a demo day for prospective buyers, I think every honda dealer has a limited amount of spots allocated to it...
I'm amping for a strop on the new beasts!!
Don't think there will be any 2smokers out there sorry danger.

Aahh well lucky you didn't go mate, more turns for the rest of us..
The weather on friday put alot of people off, the track was still a little greasy when we first arrived but didn't take to long to get nice and tacky.
The new 450 is a great bike, smooth usable power and just handles like a dream, it feels really light and is easy to lay over into turns. Ended up spending about an hour on the bikes (4 of them) spread over a few sessions, at first i was not impressed enough to change bikes but as the confidence grew and I was getting used to the bikes handling and power I was definitly faster than on my 07 and it didn't feel like it was pulling my arms off doing it. I just handles great which is what I had hoped for and what I got! Even with the shit standard tyres..
Can't wait to get one and ride some wide open stuff, the bike feels really fast, not enough room at kimmys MX track to really string it out. The new part of the track is cool, still a bit of work to do before opening but Kim recons he will have it all sorted by then.

just had a go on the new 09s down in gizzy.
the 250r i didnt like at all, much prefer the 04/05s, felt to me like the steering angle was really steep and the front was trying to tuck under - dont know if it is , but thats how it felt to me
the 450r felt again twitchy in the front but not anywhere near as bad as the 250. power of the 450 was good straight off the bottom, but up top didnt seem to have as much pull as the mighty 2t. at the end i still prefer the 2t, but the 450 is definately quite cool. the EFI side of things seems to work well with no flat points and no trouble starting even when hot. the 250 was still a bit of a mongrel to start hot.
i dont know what theyve done but both bikes felt really light which was quite neat.
