I have recently just got my backside back on a bike, after around 4 years of not being on one.

I just bought myself a Hyosung GT250R, thanks IVAN @ TSS [/shameless plug], and am thoroughly enjoying it.

At the moment I am looking around at insurance, and seeing which company want to screw me the most :confused: , though swann seems pretty good and just waiting on a few quotes to come back.

If you see a plonka riding around wellington on a 'fire engine yellow' (as the partner puts it) bike, then feel free to give me shit for my crap riding ability.

Weird eh, when you get back on a bike after so long.

I did it myself when I came over to New Zealand, had a 500cc in Englnd back in 1997, then after a couple of years, my circs changed so I went onto a 49cc suzuki street magic......!!!!, :laugh:then onto Esther the Vespa 12cc which I still own and love even more.:scooter:

Then 2 years back I got Tex my Triumph Bonneville T100 :love:and its great to be back on.

Mate I am the slowest there is, but I adore cruising and taking my time, looking at the wonderous scenery that goes past.:ride:

You take you time do it all safe, and get the feel for riding again mate, let the engine and feeling of riding again intoxify you.:niceone:

I love bikes, you have to get yourselves to rallies, dont be intimidated at the bigger bikes that are there, as soon as everyone off their steads there's no divide, just fun chat boogying and hanging out...................
