Just for people who will be around on Sunday and are looking for something to do.
There is an open day at Aces High Paintball feild just out of Palmerston North on Sunday. They are debuting their brand new Air ball feild. Its the most up to date speedball feild in New Zealand so will be a great day.

The feild is located on Flygers Line just out of palmy.
If you have nothing to do, please come by for a look. Some top notch players will be there, but if your interested in having a game or 5 there will be rental gear availible for the day.
The feild has netting around it, so you can watch the action up close with complete saftey.
This is not bushball by the way. Its called Speedball, so the games are much more exciting and action backed. I assure you you will not get bored.

They are looking to have a pretty good turn out so heres hoping for a good day.

Might see you there.
If you come by, come say g'day. Everyone there are very friendly and dont bite. Ill keep an eye out for people looking a bit lost too

Otherwise come and see me at the track on Saturday and ill fill you in.
Cheers
Martin

Wish I had a paintball gun of my own right now

There's a large number of very tempting targets (read Election Billboards) appeared around town recently

Dont take this the wrong way man, but thats not exactly good for the sport at all. Its like motorcycling. We need to do everything we can to keep its good name.
Please dont ever use a paintball gun in that way!

Now if you said you wish you had a paintball gun so you cold go to your local feild and mow some faces (paintball term :innocent:) that would be ok :2guns:

Can we go "mow faces" at the Beehive Dad? Can we? Can we? Oh please?...

Actually I was taught never to point a gun (loaded or otherwise) at person

Although polyitiscums probably dont count

Its probabaly just as well I dont have one

I really miss paintball, but I dont really like speedball. Going through 400 rounds in 5 minutes is not for me. I used to play bush with just a 20 round hopper and another 100 rounds in the vest, milsim style.

And yeah, anyone who uses a painball gun outside a field is a moron and deserves a frozen paintball in the kidney.

I was told no to point a gun at anyone I didn't want to kill. Different philosophy over in Russia I guess.

I used to play bushball when I was at college.
But enjoy the pace of speedball :headbang:

Got a nice new marker to use too

I was told that frozen paintballs is bullshit as they do more damage to the gun than the target, because they swell up.

$2:00 shop marbles on the other hand go right through a possum, so I was told.

The only thing that I know is that I would not like to be hit with a paint ball, doing it properly or not! Ouch! :crybaby: John.

Frozen ones work just fine, kills your barrel eventually. Doubt a marble will do much more damage, maybe a ball bearing if you up the PSI quite a bit.

Oh and paintballs are nothing to worry about.

Yeah they were, and it only took a couple of seconds. Me and my mate had a couple of Tippman A5s with response triggers back when I was in a club. Lots of kids came in one day and had to be entertained so we decided to have a mexican standoff, 20 shots each, 10m apart. Was fun, would do again.

Ouch, you must be some kind of masochist to enjoy that! (lol) John.
