Yesterday was cold and wet, non-event day.
Got loads to do before heading off (to colder, wetter climes) until early January, going to miss the bike no end so EVERY day I don't get to ride before then is a bad day.
Woke up around 5:00 today, still looked a bit overcast - bugger! Went back to bed, got up at 07:45 - weather's great! Spend right through till 3:15 cleaning roof (don't ask!) then schools out and me and the trusty CB750 are off. Nice ride out Oxford way, meet John & Carol(?) on an old Suzuki 750T, John on a Fireblade 1000 and a couple of Kawasaki R650 riders enjoying a nice cool one before heading off in separate directions. Total strangers when we all met, but the bikes soon put paid to that.
Headed home along the Ashley Gorge back route - got home feeling 1000%
