M/C Canty held round 3 of the south Is cup yesterday at Ruapuna, Karel Pavich took a bad tumble at the end of the straight on her post classic TZ350.
After compleating a passing move on Steve74 the bike went into a bad shake sending Karel straight off the track at high speed both bike and Karel tumbled bad with Karel taking a hard blow to the head.
Karel went straight to hospital (awake) so when i hear more ill post up.
All the best Karel.

yeah sounds in good sprites and reckons the bikes not so bad.
She lost her front brakes, the line let go so she was hard on the rear to scrub speed off at the fastest part of the track, fuk all else you can do i spose.

ahh i see.
she had just passed me down the staight and it looked like it seized with all the rear locking up going on. fucking brillant save on track to keep it upright but unfortunatly the track has that nasty kink and there was no where to go.
was a nice bike. hopefully it gets patched up
and hopefully karel is not too badly knocked about. get well.

Thanks for your concerns - I am OK. Needing a few days rest and apart from some concussion and some really good bruises, I am fine. Me and the bike both repairable! Turns out we had a front brake failure (why couldn't these things happen at the slowest part of the track, not the fastest!) It was a racing incident that nobody could have predicted, so onwards and upwards. Thanks to everyone for their concern and sorry to the guys behind that had to witness it - wouldn't have looked very pretty huh? Cheers and see you at Ruapuna again soon...... Karel

Great to see you on here Karel! And glad to hear you are recovering ok... had us worried a bit when the ambo went out, and then away to the hospital.
Oh yeah and this is the place where we all get to talk shit and take the mickey out of each other during our off season from racing... which is now for most of us bucket racers, some of us having a longer off season than others!
Tho a lot of B...shit gets talked about during the season too! Nice to see that you have been guided to the light of KB.
Oh you lucky thing you! ;)

yer I never even thought about it, I used to have number 86, then when I asked for that number for F2 they said it was taken already and would 99 be ok?
lol.....I guess i'd rather be agent 99 than Maxwell anyday huh! And you'd be WAY more worried if we all had 69!
Maybe all cool chicks just end up with the same number eh:msn-wink:
