And yet my battery-free Trek will cruise with a 100kg rider at 30-35kph on the flat for approximately 100km... assuming sufficient pies and/or weetbix are provided beforehand.

True dat. Turn the motor off and pedalling all that weight will have you in Lance Armstrong shape in no time flat!

Gotta admit, that's a fair bit cheaper than my bike.

Trackday Saturday. I get back on the bus from Toe Paw at 6:35pm Sunday. If you don't mind racing in the evening, you're on!

Could go either way I reckon.

:sherlock:

Edit: Which one's Ladies Bay? St Heliers or thereabouts?

If that timing's a pain in the arse for you, I'll be in town all weekend on 6th/7th Dec. That's assuming you haven't sold the electric beast by then, I guess.

You're on bro. I like the icecream idea, I tend to get into trouble betting cash on bike races anyhow...

I seem to recall PMing you with my contact details and never receiving a reply.

Since you still have the bike(s), I'm always happy to have another go at arranging a race. I genuinely would like to see how those electric things go.

C'mon, let's do it for reals this time.

Look pedals and a proper cyclist on the electra with a 56 tooth chainset.......I reckon she'd go pretty well on the flat...mibbe 50-55kph....
