OK so I am one of the few people who have the "correct" sized helmet according to the measurements......
BUT. I have been wearing a balaclava under the helmet during the cold weather. Now when I don't wear the balaclava, the helmet is looser than I like......what would you do?
BTW it's a Shoei Raid II........

Get a replacement internal liner for the helmet if it has stretched too much. Nice thing about shoeis they have lots of replacement parts. A new internal liner for your size or just get some new cheek pads. Motomail have a sizing chart in the shoe isle and other shoei merchants should have, which tell you what the available different sizing pads are for each helmet. Just get some smaller pads after consulting the chart and the friendly staff.

You could try swapping your balacalva for a summer one. The summer weight ones aren't too bad to wear and they're a good way to stop your helmet starting to smell all manky.

It IS a summer weight balaclava...silk, so thin as...I am surprised that the helmet liner has stretched.....but I will take the advice and check out new padding.....
