I posted this thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=84391 a few days ago and have decided to organise an awareness ride in support of bringing Dylan Laybourn back to NZ. Dylan is the only son of a very good friend of mine who was abducted to Turkey by his mother's family last year and because of a complete lack of action and support from the NZ Government, he remains there today.

If you haven't already, please visit www.bringdylanhome.co.nz to get the full story. There was a news article on TV last week and 60 minutes will be screening a story very shortly.

We need your support! All you have to do is turn up! Bring children, wives etc.

Meeting Venue: Swashbucklers 23 Westhaven Drive, City

When: Sunday 9th November

Time: 11:00 am

Ride: About an hour around Auckland City (open to suggestions)

After the ride, we will return to Swashbucklers for food and drinks. They'll do a deal for us.

I'm getting a pamphlet made up and will post this shortly so PLEASE hand this out to as many people as possible. Bring your cameras too.

So who's in? Please register your attendance in the calendar.

Ryhmes with clucking bell. Yeah, I saw the signs going up around Westhaven on a run this morning.

Stand by for either change of time or venue...

I'm in on another date. Fuck being in the City on that day. Not a silly idea to do it just before the election too.

Where's the Turkish Embassy?? Wellington, I suppose. Should we protest outside a Turkish restaurant?

Sorry guys, due to the Auckland Marathon we've had to change the date to Sunday 9th November. Gives us more time to get the numbers though.

Thanks to the people that have already registered. Hope you can change the date.

Sorry guys, the ride is canceled due to many reasons. The battle continues...

To those of you that offered your support on the day - thank you. Bruce appreciates it very much.
