Boyd motorcycle beat a "competitive" quote today for my rear by guess how much....
its a 190 sportsbike tire (sport compound)

$30?
$50?
$70?

nope

$105......cheaper than the other shop.

$235 fitted, and its a decent tire too

man, im impressed!

il get it tomorrow, my other one is wasted from trying to powerslide the gixxer out of roundabouts and doing 3rd gear wheelies up to 200kph

These older tyres are regularly on special from the distributors (Northerns). It's likely you'll be able to get a similar deal somewhere else, but only for that specific tyre. The specials change often.

Cycletreads was doing Pilot Sports front and rear for $399 fitted a while back. They were trying to get rid of these old design tyres as they have been superceeded with the dual compound one I think.

GSXR thous can be like a rottie - the dog will sit there for years, playing with the kids - but poke her in the eye and baby loses an arm.

They're hilariously easy to go very fast on, but, the edge is narrow.
