I definately am going to bring my Motard to the next one, bit worried about the off road bit though...not done MX stuff before. hows that work on slicks ?

I definately am going to bring my Motard to the next one, bit worried about the off road bit though...not done MX stuff before. hows that work on slicks ?

when is the next one

This Sunday at the Slipway there is no dirt so slicks are fine

Slicks work ok on the drit same as riding in the rain

Judging by this video, tyres don't make much of a difference when you know how to ride....

ooh oooh, slipway.... my planned dirt excursion has been canned........ what time, how much$, do i have to have boots etc? will my standard DRZ slug be enterable? do i need any licence?

Are my MX boots passable?, I don't "do" leather (im a vegan) woops i meant bogan... can i use my MX kit (pressure suit etc)? also, i have no road licence will i be able to enter? P.S rad video that is a cool little track

mx boots fine. not sure about mx kit, no licence needed

i heard that they line all tracks in tamuranui with big rocks because it makes it better for spectators
