The poppies attract the junkies ! Opiates ! they bleed them much like a rubber plant, proccess it and ping it up !
The cacti they swoop in and take the whole top home, skin it and boil it down for a hallucigenic type effect !
Wo000oooRrrrRRrKkkkS well ! (so i am told) in frozen ice cubes to add to ya whiskeys otherwise it tastes much like daytura (apparently) bloody horrible !

Trichocereus...... A poor substitute for the real deal-Peyote or Lophophora williamsi [below]. Sold in South america in markets, usually in dried form, unfortunately growth is very slow [unless grafted], but the effects are said to be remarkable. Early jesuit priest's reported seeing monsters and remarkable eye sight.

Yeah, thankfully, my boys think enough of me to discuss, well, everything really, they just find it funny that their dad/buddy has to ask for a translation every time we get on to the drugs thing. They're all very street wise on the subject.

The funny thing is, My little men on the beer is a different story, last time they dragged me to a lap dancing club, literally after two beers, I've got one asleep on a chair, one under the table and two talking utter drunken gibberish, bless em.

Well they're all in their late twenties early thirties now, so I guess we kinda handled the drug thing together but for sure it's a bloody worry.

Word of warning on poppies,DON'T let any racehorses near them,mate had a hedge row amongst his garden,the trees creating shelter,horse ate a few,raced within a couple of days,had to provide urine test(horse),tested positive for morphine substance.Cost was over $15000,as horse won 2 races,and he copped a fine.
