Hmmmmm...
There is a 'London' in the US, but can't remember what state it's in..
still more smelly than a pooch with the shlits.. Wouldn't trust it more than I could wheelie it.. I've seen these sort of things before. I saw an '04 R1 with all the bling bling chrome etc for something like NZ$5,000 selling. Bollox would it.. So I emailed them out of curiostity about how the hell it's so cheap etc, just simply asking that.
I then got an email (well, novel) about how I should deposit the money in an Italian bank account, send a confirmation fax with the number but false name to some Swiss number, then the bike is shipped to NZ, upon which, I re-fax the confirmation with the right name.. They reckon that if I don't get the bike, I don't send them the right confirmation so they don't get the money.. Kinda seems to work, but nothing is that good to be true.

Yup, it's a scam. Don't touch it with a ten-foot barge pole, etc, etc.

happens on bikepoint, trademe & ebay all the time. if you email the link to the webmaster, they should take it off - trademe/ebay are good at deleting them quickly.

I contacted the web site and asked them whether they could check this add out in order to confirm whether or not it was a scam. Guess what:

Hi we have contacted the seller and all seems ok , remember shipping from UK
is on top of price.

I say we individualy bombard the web site with our concerns about this add, so that they don't get the impression that we're ganging up on them.

Look, would someone please hand around the bottle of reality pills?

This is a scam, and Ross at 'Bid4it' is obviously a gullible fool.

I know, I know and I told him as much. But he did say that there was a free Yamaha thrown in with it, so I may just bid anyway because the Yamaha would make a nice coffee table.

Oooh, a free R1? I'm not letting you win THIS auction!

I'll take the engine block out, degrease it and use it as a doorstop. Then I can swap the Zeal's lump into the R1 frame and enjoy massive pose value while remaining legal on my restricted licence.

I'll donate the Honda to the local Gay Pride League, of course.

Forgot it was a honda..... $6600.00 seems a bit steep now.
