Not once did Carver actually refer to anyone specifically (well not until others did anyway). I think his point wasn't actually a bad one in that too many riders end up dead on our roads. My personal opinion is that the use of the photos in that thread was more disrespectful and tacky than anything he said.

As many had already said - no amount of 'scare tactic' was going to make an actual difference to his 'percieved attitude' (whether he actually is as bad on the road as he spouts on here seems to remain to be seen - their vids (the ones I have bothered with admittedly)certainly don't seem to paint the kind of picture that would seriously concern me) SO why the need to use fallen riders as 'examples' to teach - I seriously doubt it made any difference to him though my sense would be that it upset a hell of a lot more people than who it was targeted at.

It's heartbreaking that any road users end up dead because of their love for riding the road the way they each choose to. Should anything happen to me and someone thinks it appropriate to use pictures of me or my wrecked bike or my cut up gear...think again - my close friends and family don't need or want that and I'll be haunting your arse if I'm able.

I think Mark that you have missed MY point - that I felt it more disrespectful and fairly tacky to see the pics that were used in the way that they were...While I get the 'point' you were trying to make I felt that was far more disrespectful than his vague comment about KB's high number of accidents from people riding like twats - not really a huge leap to make is it...not really so surprising and again remember who was saying it!

mmmm maybe, depends how your thoughts are at the time of making a post, Ive deleted my post as I didnt want to upset anyone, But Im with Skidmark (did I say this) Im all to tired of seeing guys popping their chests out on KB and telling us all about the 200 kmph hour wheelie, and how they got around the loop in record time blah blah blah, essentially for me I think a couple of shock posts (and it isnt the first) are good.
Carver and CO are definately temporary riders, I know them all, if I can shock them into slowing down a bit I certainly will. My picture wasnt graphic (no gore) nor was Skids it was a horrible site broken gear broken bikes, but some people need a bit of a wake up sometimes.

As for the Families of the victims, I doubt strongly they would be bothered (I know them all well)
As Far as Bruce goes (I dont care)
As Far as Daryl goes (he wouldnt mind and if he did tuff shit cause he owes me big)
but for the boys really at the end of the day they are dead so thats that.

Secondly I have ridden with Sidewinder, I rode with him for about 10 secs on the Taupo race track, it took me that long to get my 45.4 hp motard infront of his 130 hp GSXR600, I didnt see him again until I almost got into lapping him, so you see I have ridden with him and I can speak with some authority when I say he is slow.

Interestingly on the other website sportsbike.co.nz has had some complaints about the crew being there, what we are doing also is running a poll it has two options
1/ yes they can stay
2/ No they arent wanted here

I voted Yes they can stay and have even set up a sub forum next to WINJAS RING (yes a very active member) one called the mormon few.

At the moment the poll is running 7 against ,4 for (its two hours old)

what the deal is which ever way it ends up is the way its going to be, unfortunetly it looks like they are out.....I guess
