This is my favourestest festival of all time !!

I stopped lighting crackers and fireworks a few years ago to do my bit to save the environment, so went for a wee ride with a bunch of jolly guys instead today and gave the bike a clean and said a prayer :Punk:

Those of you who know me, will be going 'wtf' right about now... but yea there is a spiritual side to me as well :eek:

Anyways I'm off to meditate and clear my mind, so have a nice 1 guys.:shifty:

My wife wants me to go out and light a diya (sp?).

But we don't have one.

My suggestion of a corned beef tin and a, ahem, feminine product for a wick didn't go down well.

(She knows I kid. I'm about to go put out a tea-light candle instead...)

Diyas are easy to make. Back in the day my gf used to make them for us. If u wanna please ur wife, find a bit of blue tak shape it in the form of a diya, put some oil in it, take some cotton wool twist it up and submerge it partially then light the wick :)

Alternatively, find some sort of container that won't ignite and burn your house down and make do with that. She will appretiate the thought and give you awesome head tonight! :niceone:
