Here's some pics from the weekend. The weather was great, despite all the doom and gloom predicted. Everyone had a fantastic time and there was some real close racing.
Many thanks to everyone who came down from Auckland.
The only glitch was the damn pigs got out and ate the plants in me garden. :weep:

+1 on that, your hospitality was amasing, sounds like Ellen talking, hows Steve feeling today?

Well good news as well is that I detoured on my way hone to my local engineering shop in the Waikato (read the old mans shed) and a new footpeg bracket has already been fabricated and bolted to the bike :2thumbsup all I need is to bleed up the brakes and I am all set for the 2 hour.

Will right up a bit of a report when I am feeling all creative.

Hi Pumba,
Yep Steve is a bit stiff and sore but otherwise fine. The ribs aren't too bad.
The bikes up on the table ready for repairs. The forks are bent so we are going to try to repair them or may have to get new ones.
I will post some pics if the damage later.

Ant Clockwise

10 Ellen FZR/Loncin 31.77

2 Olly FXR150 25.83

Clockwise.

9 Carl W GP125 30.89
8 Chris B RX125 28.87
7 Steve FZR/FXR 28.04
6 Robert GP125 27.47
5 Keith Honda125T 26.40

3 Zak FXR150 25.50
2 Olly FXR150 25.39
1 Tim FXR150 25.09

All the front runners are on FXR’s, :scooter: what could this mean?

Maybe its time to allow unlimited or 28mm at least, carb’s on F4 125 two strokes and possibly water cooling too. I have some RGV250 cylinders just begging to be run with a rotary valve bottom end.

F5 Dave
31st October 2008, 08:53
Time before last time I was there I was beating some auckland chap on an FXR on my 50 (fairly easily as long as I could get ahead I'd get away). But I wouldn't be able to beat Olly I'm pretty sure. (we never took times) 100cc ought ta do it though.

bucketracer
31st October 2008, 11:20
That was Tim, I overheard him talking about your RG50 and he thought it was faster than him both down the straight and around the corners. Tim beat Olly in the super poll going both ways. Times are posted above. So by extrapolation you may well be able to beat Olly.

F5 Dave
31st October 2008, 11:51
Well my 50 is faster than when I last raced Olly a couple of years back & Olly was on a different bike then.

Tim's FXR was faster than my 50, but if you leave a corner with 5kph extra you carry & build on that all the way down the straight.

Kewl!

Mind you I had been there a few times before so I know my way around. Still it makes a change than me having to race in Auckland against the locals.

Buckets4Me
31st October 2008, 23:13
Olly and Tim are both faster than they where last time around

Tim beat Dave Diprose at the last points round :niceone:

and then there is Zak
getting faster and faster as well as smother
just hase to work on his launches
I mean reaching for the stars and all but not like that thanks :spanking:
hope the wrist is all better
