I will see about finding some spare money next year, maybe enough for a GSX-R 750 second hand (maybe an old 1990 in good nick) for my weekend bike. I really couldn't give up the scooter for a weekday commuter though - it just works so friggin' well in that role.

Getting back to the bikini wash - if anyone knows a keen potential girlfriend, there may end up being 2 bikes and a car for her to wash, so her skills at vehicle washing while wearing a bikini will be very important.

thats reassuring... and yet... did you even have to mention it?

The ladies were very nice, and really worked on cleaning the bikes, not just throwing some water and a rag at them.

Now I have to make up cds to send to them/drop them off, and mt eden and several other places :niceone:

Haven't been so tired after a day of shooting either. Got sunburnt (pfft to the logic of sun cream) and my thighs were knackered from holding weird angles to get some of the shots. About 6 hours of shooting.

I forgot to include the guy in the previous selection, so he's in here twice.

One of the funny moments for the day...

He starts washing my bike, and flippantly says, "Well, the guy that owns this bike is getting a raw deal with me cleaning it" (the girls were on a break). I said to him, "Do you want to know who owns it?"

Him: "Yep"
Me: "... It's mine"
Him: "Oh shit, we gotta have the girls washing the photographer's bike of all bikes!!". Immediately stops washing, and the bike awaits the girls. :lol:

Ok Well I can't deny the photographic evidence - there was definitely a bike-washing bloke there! (Thanks for the pics Gremlin :) ) Dunno how I missed him though. Maybe it's because he wasn't wearing the Mt Eden Motorcycle branded teeny speedos? Good on him though for getting out there and braving what must have been a tough crowd!
