View Full Version : 2008 Kawasaki ZX10R GIVEAWAY!!

CHOPPA
29th October 2008, 17:18
http://choppa.synergywebsite.com/#

Thanks to Kawasaki NZ, Mr Motorcycles Pukekohe, speed-tech.co.nz, Demon Energy and RPM bar in Cambridge we are organising a fund raising event to cover some costs for the 2009 National Superbike series I will be competing in!

December 5th is the date and it will be held at the RPM bar in Cambridge between 7.30 to 9.30pm but your welcome to stay longer!
You will have free alcohol served up by some scantily clad woman, live auctions of top quality Helmets, 1 piece race suits, tyres and a few items of 1 off memorabilia from some top NZ riders.

Pretty much we will keep you entertained until the big giveaway of the major prize which Mr ANDREW STROUD will be drawing, is the BRAND NEW 2008 KAWASAKI ZX10R!

The tickets to the fundraiser are strictly limited to 300, you don’t have to be present at the event to go in the draw for the Bike, you have to be 18 to get into the venue but anyone is welcomed to purchase tickets. The tickets will be on sale from next week, we are just finalising sponsors for there logos etc then as soon as there back from the printers they will be on sale for what I believe is a very reasonable $100 each for a 1 in 300 chance of taking home a BRAND NEW ZX10R!

Obviously we are going to have to sell quite a few tickets to just break even so your generosity would be greatly appreciated and the money will be going straight to Pirelli via speed-tech.co.nz as the maximum possible amount of money raised will just cover tyres.

WE ARE ALSO INCLUDING A SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE!! IF YOUR BUSINESS BUYS 10 TICKETS, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE YOUR COMPANY LOGO ON THE BIKE AND ON ALL PRESS RELEASES! THAT WOULD ALSO GIVE YOU A 1/30 CHANCE OF TAKING HOME THE BRAND NEW KAWASAKI ZX10R WORTH $19995!!!
LARGER PACKAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE AS WELL

To purchase a ticket, email (sloanfrost@hotmail.com) or pm me your contact details including home and cell numbers, full name and address then make a deposit by internet banking (Westpac 03 0318 0826101 017) using your first initial and surname as a reference, or post a cheque to;

Sloan Frost
48b Lloyd Drive
Hamilton 3200

As soon as I receive the email with your details I will reserve a ticket for you for up to 2 weeks, when I receive a cleared payment I will post the ticket asap

Thanks again everyone for your support and GOOD LUCK

Bugger and poos. I'd do $50 but $100 is stretching it - that buys a few days worth of food for the kids or some new clothes.

$50 ticket for a VN900 maybe?????????

Well if you won the zx10r and sold it you could potentially sell it, and with the money you could feed the kids for around 3 1/2 years.... :msn-wink:

Payment has been made for one ticket, and you have a pm with necessary details.

Quick Q, I presume the other prizes you speak of, some will be to other ticket holders (others look like auction items). Do you have to be present to claim the other prizes?

Firstly THANKS!! and ive decided that to be fair no you dont have to be there so that guys from along way away get looked after! Depending on how many people turn up and how much money i have to pay at the bar will depend how much stuff i can throw in for hard luck prizes, if all the tickets get sold and i reach my targets then ill be hooking the people up that have helped out as best possible!

Hey guys! Thanks everyone so much for buying tickets! Night went well but the most important thing i suppose is the winning number was 41! It went to Mr Lance Willians from Te Pahu and he was there!! He got offered 15k on the night for the bike and turned it down cause he wants to ride it so im stoked it went to someone who actually wants to use it :)

Ill do a full report of the night and post up some photos this afternoon!

Firstly thank you to everyone that got tickets and that came along on friday night, all the business's that purchased books of tickets...

EMS Services
Fosters Home Decorating Dargaville
Mount Texture Coaters
NV Motorcycles Morrinsville
F1 Engineering
RPM Bar Cambridge
Moto TT

Mr Motorcycles for helping me organise the sexy new ZX10R!!
Steve & Debbie for the use of the bar
Andrew Stroud for coming along to do the draw and donating a picture a rear picture of the britten
Printstop Hamilton for the excellent job they made of all the tickets and fliers

And SPEED TECH in Hamilton, basically without these guys behind me theres no way id even be able to ride!! So if you get a chance to support any of these companys by buying from them etc please do!

The night went well apart from a few lighting issues.... We had a few auctions but there wasnt to much interest in them either because everyone had spent all there money to get there or they were just waiting for there tickets to be drawn for the bike.

AND THE WINNER WAS......

Lance Williams from Te Pahu, he was there on the night so it made it even better then a phone call! The ticket number was 41. He was offered up to 15k on the night for the bike but refused all offers and he will be keeping the weapon for himself!

We didnt quite raise as much money as possible but we made enough to cover ferry and fuel costs for the trip and learnt a stack incase we try something else similar for next year :)

All up we sold around 250 tickets which for 3 weeks is unreal! Thanks again to everyone and if ive forgotten to thank you personally I still really appreciate all the help and the response i got!

Mistor Koz should be able to upload some pics for us....??
