This is kind of motorcycle related as I'm thinking of building trailers, some of which will be "motorcycle" trailers. I've heard that the regs have changed since I built mine and that certain parts if not all have to be welded by a certified welder, which I'm not. Can someone clear that up or point me to where I could find out?

Thanks

Yep, was talking to KK about this last night. You have to be a certified welder to weld all of the trailer together.... So best bet is to go do a night course on it...

G'day, I work for a trailer transporter manufacturer and do planning and drafting... whenever we want to check the reg's we jsut visit the LTSA site... it has heaps of factsheets on there that usually tell us all the info you need to know... otherwise try asking a local certifying engineer.
