No... not that kind you idiots!! Been snipped anyway thank you!
Can anyone offer a clue as to where to get the best tyre deals in the Wellington area? Supplied and fitted to loose wheels of course.
Not sure what they seal the roads with here in NZ but my rear (tyre!) is squaring off faster than Carl Foggarty doing a race winners burnout!

Yes Im sure they will be fine. They have plenty of life left yet...was just sussing out whether deals on tyres can be had here in NZ by shopping around. Im no green light wheelie popper anyway. Far too old lol!

TSS in Lower Hutt were the cheapest i could find round welly ( piked up a IRC Rx01 front for $101! )
they charge(d me) $15 fitting to wheel, $25 if you take the bike in.
the only cheaper place i could find was cycletreads (free fitting too) but the closest one is in wanganui, maybe a good ride to finish ur tyre off then wear the new one in on the way home?!?! :ride:

I was in at WMCC this lunchtime and they had a special on a Metzeler tyre (can't remember which one but they were for 120/70-17 and 180/50-17 or 190/50-18's I think).
$399 a pair.
PM White Trash for more info.

if you're not thrashing try in order of merit metzler z6 roadtechs or michelin pilot roads
excellent wet or dry performance from either of these 020 bridgestones aren,t bad but the fronts wear funny ,run either an 012 or 019 front.

If your chewing through rear tires.....you either ride like loosebruce or your rear suspension settings a way off....but most likely your rear shock is dead or almost dead!!!!!
Take it out and send it to robert taylor [hawera motorcycles] and get him to rebuild it or replace it...
