That's the worst thing about this site - the reputation system. Makes otherwise sane individuals turn into utter assholes and gives the whole site a juvenile look.No other sites I vist have this system enabled and they are so much better for it. Get rid of it KB and the ego's will go too......

The problem with the rep system is that you can't just "disagree" with someone without red repping them.....as I found out to my surprise the first time i disagreed with someone.....the recipient was a little aggrieved....in reality, all I wanted to do was say "Hey I don't agree with that" without assigning red rep....so now I just shut up or put up a post......overall I think the system causes more trouble than it is worth....

If you obey the rules for the most part you will be oblivious to the infraction system. you won't even have an appropriate box on your control panel to see it.

If however you are a cyber bully and insist on calling people insulting names in a malicious manner (i.e. rather than carry on a persuasive argument backed up with facts and logic you resort to calling all those who disagree with you 'cunts') then you'll probably get your arse infracted.

Katman isn't even close to what WINJA was like for breaking rules. Katman simply can't carry an argument but WINJA was something special. He could make the abuse REALLY personal.:rofl:

tried to get my rep page all red once ...would get 1/2 then some sod would give me a green ....
