What to lube?

I'm a noob and was wondering if there was anything else I am supposed to lube on my bike other than the chain? I have a 08 Ninja 250 which has developed a bit of a chirp when riding up to about 60km/h. The noise has only been since I did a 50km ride in the wet. Before that I hadn't really ridden in the wet so assume this was the cause... any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Me, I just take it to the shop - at least until the warranty runs out....

Seriously, buy some cahin lube from a motorbike shop, and spray it carefully on the chain, it is something you should do often any way, halps to get longer life out of the chain.

Since it is such a new bike it will just be the chain that needs to be lubed....get some good quality chain wax from the shop. As times goes you gonna need to oil the cables, side stand, pegs etc.

And remember when lubing, the objective is not to cover the rollers in lube, but to lube the seals etc... Good method is to spray onto the chain by aiming for the bottom of the rear sprocket from above, while spinning the rear wheel

Massage oil works... saves on having to put out the flames later.

Thanks for some of the feedback! I was already regularly lubing the chain. Was in at the bike shop today and apparantly its brake dust at the front. The new type of brake pads the kwakas use are causing this problem all over the place.
